" An Inconvenient Truth"

When we start to feel the effect of global warming, including the death of polar bears.
Your feelings and emotions while watching the movie
I felt very sad and surprised. In that moment, in that time on I wish I could do something to stop and prevent it.
Your realization after watching the movie
I realized that global warming was a big crisis for us. Its effect was not a joke and we must do something about it.
The specific actions you can commit to take care of the environment
Avoid to use harmful substances that will cause to trigger the global warming.

1. Write your thoughts/reflection about the Freshmen Night using the guide questions below:
a. What were the things, scenes and events you have seen during the Freshmen Night?
During the Freshmen Night, many students attended the said event and many enjoyed it.
The night became more exciting when the bands start to play their music. Even the weather didn't cooperate, the event ended successfully.
b. What were your feelings/emotions during the event?
I have a great time in the freshmen night, I met new friends and we all spend the night the most of it.
c. What did you like most about the event?
The music that make us all groove and happy. And specially the bond that we shared.
d. What did you dislike during the event?
As I said before, the weather didn't cooperate well but it went fine.
e. What have you realized/learned from this experience?
I realized that sometimes you need to take a break and enjoy. It will help you in your social life.

2nd meeting...

1. How was your first week of stay at MCL?
My first week of stay at MCL was excitng and full of fun experiences. At first I'm afraid because I thought that I will be aloner,but as the days go bye, I met new friends and start to hang out with them.

2.How do you feel about your teachers and schoolmates? How do you find your courses? What sort of adjustments you still have to meet in terms of your academics, emotions, and social involvement?
My classmates fade away all my fears because they are one of the best! Once you enter our classroom, you will feel at home and will start to laugh through out the day. Our teachers were really good and professionals. I'm having a hard time with our courses, more pear pressures but I learned to enjoy it all. Now, as I enter my college life, I will be more responsible and serious in my studies.

a. What challenge did you take?
I chose to get a high score in a quiz or seatwork.
b. Where you able to beat the challenge? How did you feel about it?
Yes, I was able to do the challenge and I feel good about it. The challenge inspired me and feel proud of my self.
c. What have you learned/realized from your experience?
I learned that facing your fears will help you improve your personality, it will also help in the way you will handle the situations or problems.

-Yes. After I admit my mistake, it gives me peace in mind and help me to open my self to other people.
What have you realized/learned from your experience?
- I learned that being honest to yourself was not difficult at all, but it helped me to develop my personality. I feel more confident and happy.

The Most Challenging Thing I have ever Accomplished”.

When we won the choir competition for two consecutive years in St. Scholastica.. Together with my choirmates we do our best just to win the competition. We are all dedicated and determined. We faced through different problems, but it do not affect our group and it seves as challenge for us.

values educ. 4th meeting

1. Looking back at the list of your positive characteristics and qualities, what do you feel and realize about it?
My characteristics and qualities describe the real me. Without these I may not be a good person. It helps me a lot in my everyday life, in every situation I accomplished it with a positive outlook. It also help me to find out my priorities in life. Life is hard they say, but If you know yourself and learn to cope with it therefore,it's easy like counting 1,2,3.
2. The Golden Rule says, "Do unto others as you would have others do unto you."
a. Given the following situations, how would you like to be treated by your teachers and schoolmates:
- when you have given wrong answers to the questions during recitation;
I don't want them to laugh at me.
- when you are expressing your opinion during class or group discussion;
I want them to listen and respect my opinion.
- when you are giving suggestions during group work or presentation;
I wanted them to pay attention and listen to my suggestions.
- when you commit mistake;
I wanted them to accept my apology.
- when you don't like doing what they ask you to do;
I will tell them frankly that I don't like to do wkat they ask me to do.
- when they want to give you comments or suggestions?
I will accept their comments without hard feelings.

1. How does values education work to your advantage?
Values education will serve as our first step to build a better personalty. It will help you to have a confident and a positive thinking in life. This will help you to express your feelings to other people. Because of this I learned to enjoy my life as the way I want it to be.
2. After you have process your first new experiences at MCL in what ways this will help you achieve sucessful adjustment in colloge?
Colloge life has lots of good things to offer,values education will help us to fulfill our responsibilities. You will know your priorities and set things that are important. This will help you know yourself that will be your key to achieve your goals.
